Built originally as a family home in the late 1890’s, Foyers Bay Country House still retains the original splendour of a Victorian Country House.

Today it has been tastefully converted and refurbished to create a uniquely individual and comfortable 3 star Country House, which offers many of the benefits associated with a small intimate homely environment. Foyers Bay Country House is under the personal supervision of owners Kate & David Roberts who with their small team of staff ensure a warm welcome and a high degree of personal service.

The individual nature of the house ensures that all customers arrive as guests, but many leave as friends, returning whenever possible.

Foyers Bay Country House has for many years been a favourite destination for those people who are seeking a quiet location with a homely feel, for that special break or weekend away, yet is conveniently located for most activities, and Highland destinations. Foyers Bay Country House has 6 individual letting rooms, all are en-suite with a shower.

Three rooms have magnificent views over Loch Ness, with two of these having the benefit of a shared private balcony. We also have 3 standard rooms with forest views. Each room is equipped with hairdryer, colour TV with a Free View digital -box, and tea or coffee making facilities.

The individual style of our rooms does not afford us the opportunity to offer rooms for family occupancy, and we are therefore unable to accept guests under the age of 16 years, or babies.

All residents have the use of our comfortable Residents Lounge with magnificent views over Loch Ness, where you can relax with a book by the open fire or simply enjoy the view and wild life . Also the old library is now home to our residents only bar, where you can also enjoy a quiet drink by an open fire. David who is a member of “The Whisky Society” will help you select from our large range of Malt Whiskies. Foyers Bay Country House is licensed for Civil Marriage or Partnerships, and is also available for private family functions or exclusive party bookings. Free Wi-fi is available to all guests in public areas.
